Jennifer Lawrence Debuts Short Haircut At GLAAD Awards

Jennifer Lawrence stepped out with a new short haircut this weekend at the GLAAD Media Awards.

The Hunger Games actress chopped off her blonde locks in favor of a shorter, shoulder length haircut. According to Just Jared, she was also wearing a David Koma dress and Nicholas Kirkwood shoes.

Harper’s Bazaar reports that stylist Mark Townsend gave Jennifer Lawrence her new haircut.

Townsend said: “Yesterday, Jennifer showed up an hour before call time and as she opened the door she was like ‘Mark I want to cut it all off.’ I was like ‘What? Are we allowed to do that?’ And she said ‘Of course, it’s my hair!'”

Townsend also posted a photo of Jennifer Lawrence to his Instagram account, writing: “New haircut for the fearless Jennifer Lawrence!!”

Lawrence was at the GLAAD awards to present President Bill Clinton with the Advocate for Change Award. And in typical Lawrence fashion, she adorably screwed up. Lawrence tripped over her lines and accidentally read the words of her co-presenter, Harvey Weinstein.

When Clinton took the stage he poked fun at his young presenter. Clinton said that Lawrence was “like 2-years-old” when he became president and said that he felt like a dinosaur standing next to his young presenter.

Clinton said: “I met her backstage and she looked like she was touring the museum of natural history. Oh, this is what dinosaurs look like.”
