Justin Bieber Screensaves Selena Gomez, Joan Rivers Saves The Day

Justin Bieber appears to have turned a corner. After over a month of scorching headlines, the teen superstar got an Oslo special delivery when Selena Gomez flew to Norway on Thursday.

There’s more. The Canadian has also just cleared the last remaining hurdle in the Anne Frank furor — the formidable Joan Rivers.

Doorstepped at an airport by TMZ, the usually ball-busting comedienne said of Bieber’s ‘belieber’ guestbook note at Amsterdam’s Anne Frank House museum.

“I think it came out wrong,” adding, “but I think it will send a lot of teenagers to look at the house.”

The Fashion Police co-host was also quizzed for her opinion on Gomez’s flight to Bieber’s side.

“I think it’ll be nice. I wish they’d get back together,” cooed the 79-year-old. “I saw them over Christmas and they were a nice couple.”

Back to Oslo.

Gomez was sighted at Gardermoen Airport at about 8:30 pm on Thursday.

A source says the 20-year-old’s presence in the capital was “no “coincidence.”

Reportedly, arriving shortly before Bieber went on stage at his third and final concert at Oslo’s Telenor Arena, the Spring Breakers actress was reunited with her on-off boyfriend backstage.

Us Weekly, who are usually on point with quotes especially when a story is as hot as this is, say a source told them:

“They have a crazy connection. They just can’t seem to break their connection. It can be intense.”

Indeed. Only last month Gomez de facto told an audience of millions she had made her ex-boyfriend of two years ‘cry,’ presumably when she called time on their relationship during a December vacation in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

But, it seems for all Gomez’s public declarations of singleton bliss and — for that matter — Bieber’s nubile ‘belieber’ Instagram, the heart wants what the heart wants.

A paparazzi-sourced close up of Bieber negotiating an exit from the Hermitage museum in Amsterdam, revealed a screensaver of Gomez on his iPhone.

Hideously intrusive? You betcha. But, it underlines two things. Firstly, Bieber’s continuing deep feelings for the actress-singer.

Secondly, that a road-schooled 19-year-old who, in the last few weeks has been called everything from a “thug,” to an “idiot,” an “addict” and a “narcissist,” took the time in a city with innumerable diversions to attempt to explore, learn and understand.
