Justin Bieber And Selena Gomez’s ‘Crazy’ ‘Intense Connection,’ But Is It Enough?

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez reunited backstage in Oslo last night.

Us Weekly reports that a source close to the situation has confirmed that the actress’ only reason for being in the Norwegian capital was a certain Canadian superstar.

The Spring Breakers actress set entertainment news cycles on fire yesterday when she was spotted at Gardermoen Airport in Oslo, Norway at around 8:30 pm on Thursday.

And it seems Gomez’s arrival was timed like a military operation.

Not only did the “Come and Get It” singer land in Oslo just before Bieber’s third and final Telenor Arena concert started, the Latin lovely was waiting backstage when her object of her mission-not-so-impossible came off stage.

That sound you can hear? A stirring Howard Shore score swelling.

“They have a crazy connection,” the source continued. “They just can’t seem to break their connection. It can be intense.”

So it would seem.

Just last month Gomez was fist-bumping David Letterman as she dropped her “well that makes two of us” home-run after the CBS host set up a line about making Bieber “cry.”

Later appearances by the ex-Disney alum on Chelsea Lately and Ellen, saw her rave about being single and Brad Pitt. But then, the course of true love never did run smooth.

Bieber, 19, and Gomez, 20, began dating in 2010, but their stormy relationship endured internal difficulties and significant press and paparazzi intrusion.

After numerous time-outs in 2012, the pair reportedly had “another huge fight” just before New Year’s Eve while on vacation in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Whatever the row was about — speculation spectrums from a Victoria Secret’s model to clashing career schedules — at the time, sources said, “Selena won’t forgive him.”

Meanwhile, Bieber was reported to be “really down about the breakup.”

In January this year, the teen phenom told Billboard,”I’m not in the happiest place I’ve ever been,” and revealed that a song on his 2013 Believe Acoustic album”Nothing Like Us” was about Gomez.

The on-off couple have seen each other a few times since January, and Bieber visited Selena at her Encino home on March 27 between his Believe tour dates.

Bieber, who is now in Copenhagen ahead of a gig scheduled for tomorrow night, will return to the US to present at the Radio Disney Music Awards on April 27 at L.A’s Nokia theater. Gomez will also be presenting.

Gomez, who announced her “Stars Dance” world tour on Monday, will kick off in Vancouver on August 14 before finishing on November 27 in St. Louis, while her upcoming album release has reportedly been pushed back to the summer.

For now, no-one — possibly not even the young lovers themselves — knows whether their Oslo reunion will last, or if these are just the lingering stages of a longer but fonder goodbye.

Hollywood is littered with failed relationships, but exceptions such as Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart do make it through the storm to the other side. Maybe Bieber and Gomez will too.

Yup. Definitely, Howard Shore.
