Jennifer Aniston Shows Off Cupping Marks From Alternative Medicine Treatments

Jennifer Aniston showed off cupping marks at a recent red carpet appearance, a sign that the 44-year-old actress is dabbling in alternative medicine.

While appearing at a premiere of Call Me Crazy: A Five Film, Aniston was seen wearing a Christian Dior tuxedo-style top with slim black shorts, a sleek ponytail, and something else — cupping marks on her back.

The circular marks on her back were presumably the result of an ancient form of alternative medicine known as cupping. This involves glass cups being suctioned to the skin to optimize blood flow.

Aniston’s cupping marks were noticed by a number of media outlets, which noted the lengths the actress is going to keep her skin looking young and glowing.

Aniston seems to be making headlines as much for her outfits this year as her acting. Back in January, she showed up to the People’s Choice awards in a leather outfit that had her looking “like a superhero,” according to She Knows.

She was also showing off a big engagement ring after getting engaged to fellow actor Justin Theroux.

As always, Aniston’s style drew mixed reviews, with some critics calling the black leather was a “fashion fail.”

Fans of the actress and her hit show Friends almost had a chance to see more of Aniston that just cupping marks on the red carpet. A rumor circulated this week that NBC was reviving the hit sitcom from the 1990s and early 2000s for a reunion movie, but producers quickly shot it down.

“There is absolutely, 100 percent no talk about a reunion,” Kevin Bright the show’s producer, told TV Guide. “There will be no Friends movie … It was made to be an intimate show in your living room. It wasn’t a broader show like many of the comedies today that are shot single-camera. It’s wonderful the way it is.”
