‘Injustice: Gods Among Us’ For Wii U Doesn’t Sync With iOS Version

Injustice: Gods Among Us Wii U version will not support the cross platform syncing with the iOS version. This appears to be an outlier as the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions have long been touted as having this ability.

The fact that you could actually sync up content from the mobile version, which launched about 10 days ahead of the console version was looking like one of the truly nifty parts of this franchise.

It does appear that the Wii U version of the game has tried to offer up other features to make up for the fact that it won’t be syncing with iOS.

Injustice: Gods Among Us for the Wii U has special abilities and tasks that players can use on the gamepad. The game has an off-screen play mode, and will display the special moves on the gamepad.

The fact that the Wii U version basically allows a mobile game mode could be the reason that they aren’t allowing for syncing with the iPad and iPhone version.

There really isn’t a point to have both versions of the game if you own a Wii U and it won’t cost you any extra if you just happened to find this out.

The iOS version of the game is completely free. That means that while some Nintendo players might feel like they’re missing out on something, at least they didn’t offer up a little extra cash only to be let down.

The game is now available on the Xbox 360, the PS3 and the Wii U in North America. The UK will get the game on April 19 for the Xbox 360 and PS3 but the Wii U release in that region has been delayed a week.

Are you playing or do you plan to play Injustice: Gods Among Us on any of the platforms its available?
