Amanda Seyfried, who once referred to her rather substantial breasts as “sacks of fat,” has learned to appreciate her curves. The actress recently dished on a number of topics, including boob size, for Allure’s annual “Look Better Naked” issue.
While Seyfried may have once felt misgivings toward her voluptuous figure, the 27-year-old has a different take on her body these days. The Les Miserables star candidly revealed her feelings on the size of her boobs during an interview with the magazine.
“Actually, I saw a picture a couple of days ago from when I was 19, and my boobs were way bigger,” Seyfried reportedly confessed. “They were a D, and now they’re a small C, because I lost weight.”
The actress also chastised herself for the negative feelings she once had toward her breast size.
“There was something so beautiful about the size of them,” she explained. “When I look back, I’m like, why did I always give myself such a hard time?”
Amanda Seyfried graces the cover of Allure’s “Look Better Naked” issue. She also appears in several breathtaking photos shot by photographer Patrick Demarchelier at Golden Oak Ranch in California.
While she might be more comfortable in her own skin these days, the 27-year-old was apparently the magazine’s only featured actress who declined to strip down in the publication.
Several female stars reportedly shed their clothes for the issue, including Jennifer Morrison, Clare Bowen, and Naya Rivera. According to the Mean Girls star, she would have been perfectly fine getting naked if the decision was hers alone. “I would have, but my publicist wouldn’t let me!” she explained.
For those disappointed by her decision to remain demurely covered in Allure, Amanda Seyfried will reportedly bare her boobs on the big screen in the upcoming film Lovelace. The actress will be portraying porn actress Linda Lovelace, best known for her role in 1972’s Deep Throat.
Earlier this year, Seyfried spoke to InStyle magazine regarding her personal feelings about stripping down for nude scenes in films and how it can enhance the believability behind a role.
“It’s not about my body. It’s not about me. You’re playing somebody else. You’re not going to believe a love scene if the people are dressed. You’re not going to believe a stripper who has on a bra and underwear the whole time. At the same time, it has to do with how comfortable you are with letting people see your skin. For me, I’m okay with it.”
You can catch Amanda Seyfried on the cover of Allure when it hits newsstands on April 22. A sneak peek at her photo shoot –and boob comments — can be found at the magazine’s official website.
