Korean iPhone Users Invent Sausage Flavored Stylus…Actually It’s Just A Sausage

There has been a big rush of late to invent a worthwhile capacitive touchscreen compatible stylus for devices from companies that include HTC, Apple and others. Now we’ve learned that iPhone users in Korea have come up with a low-tech option, a frozen sausage.

According to Gearfuse the sausages, produced by the CJ Corporation, work with the screens because there packaging has been electrostatically charged, allowing the iPhone’s capacitive touchscreen to recognize the sausages as if they were human fingers.

The “tech” has been dubbed the “meat stylus” by users and are being used in cold weather so gloves don’t have to be removed.

Think it’s just a fad? Take into consideration that South Korean snack sausages have seen a huge jump in sales during the cold weather months.

Now you can have your iPhone fun and nourish your body, but then you’re back to freezing your fingers off.
