Kevin Zegers Engaged: ‘Gossip Girl’ Star To Wed Jamie Feld

Former Gossip Girl star Kevin Zegers will soon be a married man.

According to People magazine, Zegers and his longtime girlfriend, talent agent Jamie Feld, got engaged in Muskoka, Ontoria, while vacationing at a resort with family and friends in the summer of 2012.

“I took her out for a walk in the morning with our dog, went down to the beach and proposed,” Zegers told ET Canada while promoting his upcoming film, The Colony. “We’ve been together for six years, so I’ve been through a lot of stuff with her.”

Zegers, who recently played Mark Muir in Titanic: Blood & Steel, revealed that the wedding will be held in Los Angeles on August 3.

The 28-year-old actor took to Twitter earlier this week to confirm the engagement.

“Thanks everyone for the congratulations,” Zegers tweeted on Wednesday. “Very excited to be marrying my best friend and the love of my life this summer.”

In addition to wedding planning, Kevin will be more than busy in the upcoming months as he has a handful of films in the pipeline.

Besides The Colony, which is slated to hit theaters on April 12, Zegers will also have roles in All the Wrong Reasons, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, and Road to Capri.

The Colony, which also stars Laurence Fishburne and Bill Paxton, tells the story of a group of post-apocalyptic survivors trying to save humanity after an ice age descends on Earth.
