Rick Ross Shooting Witnesses Say Rapper Was Shot From A BMW
The Rick Ross shooting witnesses say the rapper was shot from another car before Rick Ross crashed his Rolls Royce.
As previously reported by The Inquisitr, back in January the rapper Rick Ross, whose real name is William L. Roberts, was involved in an early morning drive-by shooting that caused him to crash his Rolls Royce into a building. 50 Cent claimed the Rick Ross shooting was fake, but police confirmed the bullet holes in Rick Ross’ Rolls Royce were real and the Gangster Disciples, who previously made death threats against Rick Ross, were under investigation.
At the time of the drive-by shooting, this is what the Rick Ross shooting witnesses had to say:
“Police officials say shots were fired around 5 a.m. in the area of Southeast 15th Avenue and E. Las Olas Boulevard … The Rolls Royce was traveling eastbound on Las Olas when another vehicle opened fire on it, police said … When the Rolls tried to get away, it crashed into the building at 311 Southeast 15th Avenue.”
At the time, police confirmed the passengers in the Rolls Royce shooting was Rick Ross and his 28 year old girlfriend Shateria L. Morange-el. Rick Ross was celebrating his birthday that night at the South Beach nightclub LIV and then he took the party to Fort Lauderdale’s Floridian Restaurant, where he became the target of an apparent assassination attempt.
A new police report on the Rick Ross shooting was released today. The Rick Ross shooting witnesses say they saw three or four people inside an older model, dark-colored BMW before the shots rang out from the passenger-side window. Police recovered 18 bullet casings. Most of the bullets struck nearby businesses, which is probably why 50 Cent called foul.
The Rick Ross shooting police report says, “The witnesses ducked for cover in their vehicle due to the rapid gunfire, but were able to see the vehicle flee eastbound.” Rick Ross was also armed with a loaded 9mm semiautomatic handgun located in his waistband, although he never fired back. Rick Ross also has a suspended concealed weapon permit.
