Taylor Swift Almost Impaled By Ed Sheeran’s Sword

Taylor Swift was almost impaled by Ed Sheeran’s sword, which was used in Lord of the Rings, whilst in mid-air.

The acoustic performer was given the piece of memorabilia by Peter Jackson, the director of the film series, during a visit to New Zealand.

Sheeran, who is supposedly dating the pop star, was then showing off his sword to Swift on a private jet as it took off. This then led the sword to slide off a table and then head towards the popstar.

The “A-Team” singer told MTV News, “It’s like a real sword. I got it shipped over, shipped over to Omaha, so I was bringing it back to Nashville and I think [Taylor] and her crew were weirded out by it anyway. They were just like, ‘Why does Ed have a sword?'”

Sheeran then added, “As the plane started to take off, it was on the table and it went like this,” at this point the guitarist indicated the plane taking off. “The plane is kind of taking off and [the sword] started sliding down and I was like, ‘No! It was just about to impale Taylor.”

Sheeran and Swift apparently split up last month after they spent the night together before the Brit Awards in London. This happened after Sheeran spent the night with his ex-girlfriend just days after his rendez-vous with the Red singer.

Talking about Sheeran’s relationship with Camilla Severi, a former star of Australian Big Brother, a source stated, “They got together when Ed played in Brisbane last year. Their relationship didn’t last long but they parted on good terms and kept in touch. She has even visited him in the States when he’s toured over there.”

But it was reported that the night before the Brits, Sheeran spent the evening in Swift’s London hotel room.
