Teen Fakes Pregnancy And Stabs Boyfriend For April Fools’ Prank

As we documented for April Fools’ Day, there’s ways to surprise your loved one, and then there’s taking an April Fools’ joke and turning it into a violent assault.

For example, take Oklahoma teen April Wheeler, who wound up stabbing her boyfriend in the neck after pulling an April Fools’ Day joke. It all started out pretty innocently, and then the practical joke went horribly awry.

Eighteen-year-old Tori Wheeler decided to tell her boyfriend she was pregnant, hoping she would get some sort of reaction, but inevitably the teen wasn’t ready for his response, and the prank turned violent. When Wheeler told her beau she was expecting as part of an April Fools’ gag, it turned ugly as her boyfriend got angry, and the harmless joke turned into an argument between the couple.

Wheeler took it a step further and followed that bit of news up with stabbing her unsuspecting boyfriend in the neck. We’re guessing his reaction over the fake pregnancy news wasn’t what Wheeler was bargaining for. Now the teen is simply known for her odd sense of humor.

However, there seems to be a twist in the story. One could probably assume Wheeler was reacting to her beau’s disappointment, but she revealed to the County Sheriff’s Maj. Gary Handley that the use of the knife was also part of the prank. How do you like them apples?

Authorities in Wagoner Count said the attack on Derek Bauer was performed with a brandishing knife. The real kicker? Bauer apparently got Wheeler the knife as a gift. If that wasn’t enough, Bauer was then bitten by his girlfriend several times.

Following Wheeler stabbing her beau on April Fools’, the authorities were called, and the 18-year-old was taken into custody and arrested on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon.

Fortunately for Bauer, he wasn’t critically injured and only walked away with seven stitches and two bite marks from the April Fools’ Day joke gone wrong. According to reports, Bauer has been released after receiving treatment for his wounds.
