Heidi Klum Saves Drowning Son During Hawaii Vacation

Heidi Klum’s Hawaii vacation almost ended in disaster when her 7-year-old son was pulled underwater by a big wave. But Klum was able to save her drowning son with the help of her bodyguard boyfriend Martin Kristen.

According to Today, Klum’s 7-year-old son Henry was swept into the water, along with his nanny, by a large wave.

The riptide along the beach made it difficult for them to swim back to shore so Klum and Kirsten had to jump in and play lifeguard.

Klum told US Magazine:

“We got pulled into the ocean by a big wave. Of course, as a mother, I was very scared for my child and everyone else in the water … Henry is a strong swimmer and was able to swim back to land. We were able to get everyone out safely.”

Klum, who recently got divorced from her husband Seal, has been spending her time lately with her family, Leni, 8, Henry, 7, Johan, 6, and Lou, 3, in Honolulu. Her boyfriend Martin Kristen has also been hanging on the beach with the Klum family.

When the supermodel wasn’t saving her children from the ocean surf, she was setting up an (easy) Easter egg hunt on the beach.

Klum may be enjoying a Hawaii vacation at the moment but she’s got a busy schedule coming up. She recently filmed a new commercial for Carl’s Jr. and will soon take a seat next to Howie Mandell and Howard Stern on America’s Got Talent.
