Charlie Sheen Is Worried About Lindsay Lohan

Charlie Sheen is seriously concerned about Lindsay Lohan.

The actor said in a recent interview that he was worried about the troubled actress’ well-being. Although the former Two and a Half men star still thinks Lohan needs to get her life in order, he admitted that she is “more focused” than she has been in months.

Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan recently spent some time together on the set of his FX sitcom Anger Management. The actor revealed that he’s still hoping the actress will come around.

“There is a reason that I root for [her], because we fell in love with this little girl that was just an absolute genius and had this great light about her and that’s still there. You can’t extinguish that,” the actor explained to Entertainment Tonight.

He added, “I root for her because when you’re that talented it just doesn’t go away. Sometimes your appetites get in the way.”

Charlie Sheen is certainly no stranger to this sort of lifestyle. The actor’s very public meltdown ultimately cost him his job with Two and a Half Men. Sheen then embarked on a bizarre comedy tour in an effort to pay the bills.

Sheen told Piers Morgan last January:

“I was not winning at all. I think what a lot of people don’t realize is I was completely broke, because, you know, when they kept my back end and fired me and all that, I didn’t have any money left. So I was using the tour to actually pay child support and mortgages and stuff like that. You know? So I’m grateful for that.”

Since he’s essentially been where Lindsay Lohan is at now, Charlie Sheen offered to mentor the actress. The actor even forked over $100,000 to help out with her tax problem.

“I have a kinship with somebody [Lohan] who clearly needs a mentor, whether she wants one or not,” he said. “She can continue to hang out with her dress shredding club buddies, or turn to me for some advice from a guy who’s been down the road as well as every other side trail on the journey.”

Although Sheen was able to bounce back with Anger Management, he believes Lohan might have a more difficult time getting back on her feet.

“They let me off the hook a lot sooner then they seem to want to do with her,” the actor told ET.
