Emily Ratajkowski often flaunts her rock-hard abs. She does so while she’s out and about — sometimes while walking her dog Colombo — and she still does so when she’s sequestered at home. On Friday, the “Blurred Lines” babe showed up on Instagram as she languished in bed while wearing a revealing white crop top. The long-sleeved garment featured a plunging neckline and a band underneath her bust line, showing her cleavage while also providing a peek at her undeniably tough tummy muscles.
The 28-year-old stunner was propped up in bed, with a pillow separating her head from a light gray upholstered headboard and a white brick wall as she leaned on another pillow. She wore round wire-rim glasses as she seemed to take a break from reading a paperback version of White Girls by Hilton Als, a missive called “the read of the year” by MIT writing professor Junot Diaz.
The Dominican-American author continues to describe Als’ book, as quoted by Amazon.
“…an extraordinary, complex portrait of ‘white girls’ as Als dubs them – an expansive but precise category that encompasses figures as diverse as Truman Capote and Louise Brooks, Michael Jackson and Flannery O’Connor. In pieces that hairpin between critique and meditation, fiction and nonfiction, high culture and low, the theoretical and the deeply personal, Als presents a stunning portrait of a writer by way of his subjects, and an invaluable guide to the culture of our time.”
Besides White Girls, Emily had another unknown paperback to read, waiting by her side as she stared straight into a camera for her social media shot.
While her bottom half was snuggled under a warm white comforter, Emily sported a face full of makeup. Applications included darkened and groomed eyebrows, black mascara, a bit of blush, and some contouring. On her plump pout, she rocked rose-colored lipstick and dark red lipliner.
Her messy long hair, parted down the middle, fell in front of her body to cover part of her chest.
A large number of EmRata’s 26.7 million Instagram followers were immediately attracted to her Friday update. Within an hour of going live, the post — which was captioned by the star with a lollipop emoji — earned more than 317,000 likes and over 800 comments.
Some followers used emoji — including heart-eye cat faces, fire, red hearts, flowers, kissy faces, and water drops — while others used words to express their feelings about Emily’s post.
“Stunning picture,” stated one admirer, who added a star-eye face emoji.
“Take care of you my dear,” remarked a second fan, who added three rosebud emoji.
“Share your reading list!” demanded a third Instagram user.
“Mary [sic] me bae,” begged a fourth follower.
