‘Buckwild’ Star Salwa Amin Arrested For Missing Court Date

Buckwild star Salwa Amin has been arrested for reportedly missing her court date.

The reality show star was busted back in February on drug possession charges. Police found heroin, oxycodone, and a large amount of cash during the raid. Amin was said to have been hiding out in a shed when police arrived at her friend’s house.

The Buckwild star was supposed to appear in court this week to address the drug possession charges. However, Salwa Amin never appeared in court. The judge issued a bench warrant for the reality star’s arrest as a result.

Amin has since been arrested again. TMZ learned that she is currently sitting in jail without bail. Officials explained that a new court date has yet to be set. However, there’s a strong chance she could remain locked up until her next scheduled appearance.

Police believe the reality star and her friend were planning to sell the heroin and oxycodone they had in their possession. Authorities also arrested Shawn L. Booker, and Jason D. Jones during the raid. Jones was found in the shed along with Amin.

Salwa was originally jailed on $200,000 bond. It’s currently unknown if she will be able to leave police custody while she awaits her next court date.

Defense attorney Michael Callaghan has yet to respond to Salwa Amin’s arrest. However, officials at the jail said the Buckwild cast member had violated her parole by skipping out on the court appearance.

Should Amin get sentenced to time behind bars for the drug possession charges, she could miss out on the filming of the next season of MTV’s latest reality show.

According to Wikipedia, Buckwild follows the adventures of “nine young adults in Sissonville, West Virginia and Charleston, West Virginia, who each have a great love for the small-town American life and seemingly create their own unique ways to enjoy life in the rural area surrounding them.”
