Jessica Brown Findlay Regrets ‘Naive’ Topless Scene

Jessica Brown Findlay has done a topless scene before, but it isn’t the proudest moment of her career. The Downton Abbey actress said that she was naive at the start of her career and regretted filming the topless scene in the movie Albatross.

Findlay, who played Lady Sybil Crawley on the hit show, filmed a topless scene for her big-screen debut in the film Albatross. It was her second project and her first movie.

The actress, who was 22-years-old at the time, said that she was a little naive when she was told that she was going to get naked on camera.

Findlay said: “To be honest, Albatross was naivete and not knowing that I could say no… I had no idea what was going to happen and thought I was going to be shot from behind. It’s not something I would do again.”

The actress may regret the topless scene in Albatross, but that doesn’t mean that the actress is against getting nude on screen. She just wants to what to know what to expect before she takes her clothes off. In the show Labrynth, the actress has a very brief nude scene.

Findlay said: “In Labyrinth, it is a very fleeting moment that we shot in one take, but I did find it very odd being naked in front of lots of people.”

The actress is best known for starring in Downton Abbey, but Findlay left the show during the middle of season three. Why? Well, she didn’t want to get too comfortable.

Findlay said: “I didn’t want to fall into my comfort zone too much. My contract was ending, and I was unsure about signing away another year. Leaving terrified me, and that’s what made me want to do it.”
