‘Scary Movie 5’ Gets New TV Spot [Video]

Scary Movie 5 just got a new TV spot today.

Scary Movie 5 stars a plethora of actors and actresses, including some who apparently came back from the dead (seriously, we saw Charlie Sheen die in Scary Movie IV). The cast includes Ashley Tisdale, Erica Ash, Lindsay Lohan, Charlie Sheen, Angela Raiola, Sherée Whitfield, Mike Tyson, Audrina Patridge, Kendra Wilkinson, Simon Rex, Molly Shannon, Terry Crews, Marisa Saks, Heather Locklear, Jasmine Guy, Angie Stone, Anna Faris, Kate Walsh, and Katt Williams. There’s a mouthful for you.

It’s nice to see Lindsay Lohan managing to stay out of trouble long enough to make another movie. If you haven’t heard about her lately, you probably haven’t seen any online news or tabloids in years. In which case, there is plenty of news about her right here on The Inquisitr.

One of the stories that Scary Movie 5 apparently follows is that of a French dance company director, Pierre. He’s a snooty, imperious type putting on a new production, and some of his students are vying for the top spot. One is African-American and the other has a mother who is determined that her daughter will get the lead. A veteran dancer gets cut from the production and goes nuts.

Knowing how Scary Movie films tend to be, there are always multiple stories going on, and they always go through several movie spoofs along the way. This one includes spoofs on Ted, Paranormal Activity, and Inception, just for starters.

The TV spot starts with someone who looks like Sarah Michelle Geller saying “I feel like there’s something in this house.” We then see a small blonde girl come out of an opening box leaning backwards so her face ends up upside down in the dark before some guy screams like a girl. The words “Dimension Films” pop up on the screen before a blonde is seen being dragged by something unseen across the shag carpet.

The announcer says, “Scary Movie has everything you’re looking for.”

A sequence of scenes shows some blonde saying “B**hes,” a wide-eyed brunette saying “The Bible,” and Charlie Sheen saying “Demons.” The blonde from the beginning replies from a couch, “You know, a demon is the worst that you can have.” Katt Williams retorts, “An STD is the worst thing you can have.”

The rest of the TV spot is below.
