‘Pain And Gain’ New TV Spot Released

Pain and Gain, the new Michael Bay film, just got a new TV spot.

Pain and Gain is based on a true story about bodybuilders in Florida who engaged in a campaign of kidnapping, extortion and murder. Mark Wahlberg (TED, Boogie Nights), Dwayne Johnson (The Scorpion King, G I Joe: Retaliation), Anthony Mackie, Ed Harris (The Rock), Rob Corddry, Tony Shalhoub, Bar Paly, Rebel Wilson, Ken Jeong (Transformers: Dark of the Moon) and Yolanthe Cabau star in the April 26 release from Paramount Pictures.

The TV spot starts with Mark Wahlberg smiling as he takes a stack of papers, “My name is Daniel Lugo, and I wanna make America a better place.”

We see Mark Wahlberg and Anthony Mackie leaping into the air with their arms up, Dwayne Johnson standing over what looks like an outdoor barbecue grill, and Anthony Mackie hanging out with Rebel Wilson on the beach. Mark Wahlberg winks at the camera as the words overlay saying “This April.”

Mark Wahlberg continues, “We’re being kept down by people who cheated to get where they are, and I got a plan to change that.”

We see a guy hanging out at what appears to be a beach resort, and then the main actors sitting and smiling a lot. Dwayne Johnson is the last one as the words overlay saying “From Director Michael Bay.”

Dwayne Johnson, Mark Wahlberg and Anthony Mackie walk side by side with sunglasses and stylish warm weather garb.

Dwayne Johnson cuts in, “You just can’t take a guy’s things.”

Mark Wahlberg replies, “Well sure we can. He’s a criminal.”

We see a plane pass by overhead as what appears to be the villain is smoking a cigar in front of a large white building, possibly a hotel.

Some masked guys burst out of the back of a van with two side-swinging back doors as one yells, “Go go go, get him, get him, get him!”

The rest of the TV spot is below.
