NCAA March Madness Explained With Star Wars Analogy [Video]

The NCAA March Madness tournament can be difficult to explain if your audience is made up of internet geeks. On the other hand, just like everything else in life, a Star Wars analogy is always just a heartbeat away.

YouTube channel Satire uploaded a video on March 19, 2013 that does a good job of explaining how March Madness tournament play works in a George Lucas created galaxy.

The video, directed and edited by Nick Nielsen, has received just under 12,000 views at the time of this posting.

Like many Star Wars explanations we have seen in the past, the video uses simple drawings and basic terms to explain the analogy. The simplicity of the video makes it perfect even for someone who has only seen Star Wars once or twice.

I personally enjoyed the fight comparisons from the movie, which tied into the strategy of the tournament. The video even does a decent job of explaining some of the surprising wins and loses that pop up every single year.
