Eli Manning, Wife Abby Expecting Second Child

Congratulations are in order for New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning and his wife Abby. The happy couple of five years is expecting their second child later this summer, US Weekly is reporting.

According to the magazine, Manning and his wife were attending a Samsung event Wednesday when they were asked if they planned on expanding their family of three.

The couple, who are already parents to two-year-old Ava Frances, revealed that a bigger brood was definitely on the radar and that Abby was, in fact, already pregnant.

“She’s due in June,” the 32-year-old QB told Us. “We’re all very excited.”

The two-time Super Bowl MVP went on to say about soon-to-be big sister Ava, “Well, it’s her birthday tomorrow! We’re doing a party Easter weekend. We have all our family in town and do a little party.”

In addition to talking babies, Eli Manning also discussed the Giants upcoming season and revealed there is one teammate he really hopes to see returning to Metlife Stadium this fall — star wide receiver Victor Cruz.

“I am definitely keeping up with Victor,” he told reporters about Cruz, who is currently a restricted free-agent.

“I am hoping each day that when I open the newspaper it doesn’t say that he has signed with another team, I am hoping he stays with the Giants and we can continue our success.”

Here is a video of Cruz’ highlights during the 2012-2013 season:

Eli went on to say that he is so determined to get Cruz back in the Giants lineup that he is more than willing to take a pay cut in-order for the team to sign Victor to a long-term deal.

“If the Giants want to work something out, I am always up for listening and figuring out what I can do to help the cause,” Manning told ESPN.
