‘Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time’ Gets Trailer [Video]

Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time just got a new trailer.

The game will be available in Europe on March 27 for PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 3.

The trailer starts with the logo of a raccoon head outlined on a black background and “Sly Cooper Presents:” overlaying it as a jazzy tune begins, suggesting a spy-like theme. Then we see the logo on a crystal ball overlaid with the words, “Sly’s Psychic Connection.”

Sly Cooper, a raccoon, pops out from the bottom left corner of the screen in what looks like a burglar outfit, complete with the hat and a strange-looking cane of sorts with a giant hook on the end. He says, “Hello there. I know a lot of you are pretty excited about the new Sly Cooper game, Thieves in Time. Unfortunately, I’m under strict orders not to reveal any secrets. They told me I couldn’t say anything. I really don’t like it when people tell me I can’t do something, so I think I found a loophole.”

As expected from a known flaunter of the law, Sly Cooper is obviously going to have a problem with rules and orders.

He continues, “If what Bentley says is true, and it usually is, there’s a small percentage of the population out there with psychic abilities. So all I have to do is think the secrets, and someone will read my mind.”

Sly Cooper then proceeds to put two fingers up to his brow and stay silent. His head starts shaking as though pushing thoughts out. He dashes toward the screen, fingers to brow and silent. Then we get a ripple effect on the screen as the trailer gives way to gameplay footage.

In the footage from Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, the title character is seen parachuting into a jungle setting before fighting various enemies, some accompanied by plumes of smoke.

The rest of the trailer is below.
