Katie Holmes posed topless in a sultry new ad campaign for IRIS jewelry. The 34-year-old actress posed on the beach wearing a sparkly diamond necklace. In the promotional photos, Tom Cruise’s ex-wife keeps her arms carefully wrapped across her chest.

The sexy Katie Holmes’ topless photos are in stark comparison to the more reserved images taken during her Mrs. Cruise years, according to some celebrity watchers. The movie star’s long brown hair blows about her shoulders in a wild carefree look in the jewelry ads photos.

An alleged insider source told Naughty but Nice that Holmes is now more confident that she has ever been. The supposed pal also maintained that Katie would not have been permitted to participate in such a racy photo shoot if she was still married to Tom Cruise.

Cruise was allegedly “very controlling” during the marriage. If the source’s claims are accurate, the actor readily expressed his strong views on what projects Katie Holmes’ could and could not accept.

GQ magazine recently included the Ohio native on its “Sexiest Women of the Millennium” list. During a recent interview with Us Weekly, Holmes stated she relies on her friends for inspiration and to help lead her in the right direction.

The actress was also recently announced as the face of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. When discussing collaborating on the cosmetics line, Holmes noted how nice it was to work with kind people and called Brown a lovely person.

She will initially be participating in two Bobbi Brown Cosmetics promotions. The Long-Wear Even Finish Compact Foundation and the Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick ads will both feature the Dead Accounts leading lady.

Director Adam Shankman is friends with both Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Shankman noted during a recent interview that both movie stars are incredibly happy. The director also stated that Cruise is busy shooting a film but that he is also spending time with Suri.
