Katy Perry’s House Still For Sale

Katy Perry has moved on from her relationship with Russell Brand but she still has one big reminder in her life about her marriage to the comedian: Her house.

Perry has been trying to sell the Beverly Hills mansion but the housing market hasn’t been kind to her.

The singer hasn’t had any luck getting rid of the house and now she plans to put the place on the market for much less than its worth.

According to TMZ, Perry has been hoping to sell the house for at least $8 million but it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen. The gossip site reports that Perry is going to list the house in the MLS at the end of the month for about $7.5 million but she’ll reportedly except any reasonable offer.

The Huffington Post reports that this won’t be Perry’s first real estate loss. She purchased a $3 million condo in New York shortly before she was engaged to Brand. The singer eventually sold the condo for $2.65 million.

The singer reportedly wants to take a break from real estate risks and is currently in the market for a home to lease. A February report pointed to this home, listed at $6.25 million, as a contender for the singer’s new digs.

Perry may be struggling to get rid of her house but she’s having no trouble moving on from Brand. The actress has gotten serious with John Mayer and some people are speculating that a wedding may be in the near future.
