Tamar Braxton Pregnant: Singer Shows Off Baby Bump On ‘Good Morning America’

Singer and reality TV personality Tamar Braxton confirmed she is pregnant during an appearance on Good Morning America in New York Wednesday.

Tamar, who rose to fame in the 90s singing along side her sister Toni Braxton in the R&B girl group The Braxtons, stopped by the show to promote the new season of her hit family reality series, The Braxton Family Values.

Viewers, however, got a semi-surprise when the 35-year-old revealed she was expecting.

“I have a love on top! I am pregnant,” Braxton said on “GMA.” “I feel great and greedy at the same time. This is the most I’ve eaten ever.”

This is the first child for Braxton and her husband of five years, music mogul Vince Herbert.

As for when she’s due, Braxton added, “I don’t have that many months to go. Almost there!”

Following the announcement, Braxton took to Instagram to share the first photo of her baby bump.

Fans immediately showered the singer with praise, offering tips for the first-time mom-to-be.

“Congrats u 2!!!!!! Yyyyaaaayy!!!! And Tamar….use plenty of cocobutter oil 2 contain those stretch marks…lol!!! Enjoy ur new-found glo!”

In addition to preparing for the birth of her child, Braxton is getting ready for the kick off a new season of Braxton Family Values.

The show — which co-stars Braxton’s sisters Toni, Traci, Towanda and Trina, as well as their mother, Evelyn — premieres March 14 at 9pm on WE tv.

Tamar and Vince’s spinoff series, Tamar Vince, aired its season finale in December 2012.

Tamar later revealed the show will be returning for a second season via her official Twitter account.
