Azealia Banks Wishes ‘Excrement And Death’ On The Stone Roses For Alleged Sabotage

Azealia Banks has called out The Stone Roses in an astonishing rant on Twitter, wishing the band “excrement and death. “

The 21-year-old rapper — who has previously feuded with Baauer, Angel Haze, Diplo, and Perez Hilton — made the comments about the Brit rock-funksters following her appearance at the Future Music Festival in Sydney, Australia.

Banks claims the Roses deliberately ran through their soundcheck during her performance at the event. The rapper also claims an ex-tour manager that she sacked — allegedly for stealing — was in on the sabotage.

Some of the “212” singer’s accusatory tweets have since been deleted but not before multiple outlets noted them.

“Big apologies on behalf of the stone roses to my fans at the festival today,” Banks wrote.

She added:”My ex-tour manager made a pact with the stone roses saying they’d sabotage my set because I fired him and they decided to check their equipment behind me during my set.”

Banks’ tweets then became more noticeably more pointed:

“F**k those old saggy white n**gas stone roses. I wish them nothing but excrement and death.”

The rapper said the Roses had sabotaged her despite the fact that they are an established band, then made another strong accusation, writing:

“Wow a bunch of old white men trying to bully a young black girl… What the f**k else is new in this world??”

Banks recently confirmed her collaboration with Kanye West, Lady Gaga, and Beyonce, giving yet more weight to the possibility that the leaked set list from the Houston native might just be genuine.

As Banks tells it, the matter was resolved by an apology from The Stone Roses. However, Banks claims The Sydney Herald allegedly posted an article about racial epithets being used by the Manchester band and the row escalated again.

That article has since been removed from the Herald’s website.

Shortly afterwards, Banks stated that she and Ian Brown, the Roses’ lead singer, almost got into a fist fight.

As yet neither Future Music or The Stone Roses have responded to the claims.
