Kelly Osbourne May Have Epilepsy [Report]

Kelly Osbourne remained hospitalized Saturday as doctors try to determine what caused her to have a seizure earlier this week.

Osbourne is expected to remain at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for a few more days while doctors run tests, including ones to determine if the singer and actress has epilepsy. Sources close to the situation told TMZ that doctors were considering it a real possibility that the seizure was more serious than initially thought and that Osbourne is epileptic. Sources said it is also possible that the seizure was an isolated incident. If that ends up being the case, doctors will have to figure out why it happened and how to prevent another episode.

In the meantime, Osbourne will take anti-seizure medication.

Kelly Osbourne was hospitalized Thursday after she fell ill while filming an episode of Fashion Police. Shortly before noon, the 28-year-old said she wasn’t feeling well before falling out of her chair and having a seizure that lasted about 30 seconds. Doctors weren’t immediately sure what caused the seizure.

This isn’t the first time a member of the Osbourne family has battled health problems. Jack Osbourne was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in June 2012, less than two months after the birth of his daughter, Pearl Clementine. The 27-year-old said he was angry and frustrated after receiving his diagnosis, but said he held his anger inside for a few days before realizing it would make the situation worse. Osbourne said he has come forward about his disease in order to help raise awareness about multiple sclerosis.

Kelly and Jack Osbourne’s mother, Sharon, blamed herself for her son’s diagnosis.

“I keep thinking, ‘What did I do wrong? What did I eat or drink when I was pregnant?’ I feel like it’s somehow my fault,” she told Hello magazine.
