Snoop Lion To Star In New Video Game ‘Way Of The Dogg’ [Video]

Snoop Lion has announced that he will star in the new video game, Way Of The Dogg, which will be released later this year. You can watch a video of the rapper working on the game at the foot of the page.

The action game has been developed by 505 Games, and has been influenced by Kung Fu films. It sees players fight their enemies to a soundtrack of Snoop Lion’s music.

Snoop stated, “Everyone knows that Snoop is down with the biggest and best video games, whether it’s dropping my hits on the soundtrack or showing the world I can go toe-to-toe with the best fighters on the street, by Way of the Dogg is the first true gamification[sic] of my music.”

Lion, who was formerly known as Snoop Dogg, added, “It’s the way you live, it’s the way you do what you do and captures the beat, the rhythm and the spirit of my music. It’s not just about who you are or where you’ve been but where you are headed.”

The hip-hop megastar continued, “This game shows how we evolve as individuals and they’ve incorporated the journey of my own personal reincarnation as Snoop Lion into my character, the environments and the path that players have to follow.”

Snoop Lion will release his new album, Reincarnated, next month. The likes of Drake, Chris Brown, and Rita Ora have performed on the record, which has been produced by Diplo.Other contributors have included TI, Busta Rhymes, and Akon.

Snoop has also produced a feature-length documentary to coincided with the album, which will premiere at SXSW in Austin, Texas.The movie also examines Snoop Dogg’s change into Snoop Lion, and his work in the reggae genre. The documentary is also called Reincarnated, and follows the recording of his new album.
