Texas Teacher Arrested For Alleged Sex Abuse Of Teenage Student
Houston, TX – A Texas teacher was arrested for the alleged sex abuse of one of her dance students. The alleged victim was a member of the Wild Cadets dance team before graduating from Humble High School.
Amanda Feenstra, 30, was arrested after the 17-year-old girl alerted Houston police officers to the alleged sexual abuse. The teenager told police officers that she decided to come forward with the allegations because the Texas teacher would not her alone.
The former Wild Cadets dance team member told law enforcement officers that she and Amanda Feenstra had sex so many times that she lost count. The alleged sexual encounters supposedly occurred at both the teacher’s office inside Humble High School and at the educator’s home.
The sexual relationship between Texas teacher Amanda Feenstra and the student began in August 2010 and allegedly lasted through November 2011. The teenager told Houston police officers that Feenstra stalked her after she graduated high school. According to the Wild Cadets dance team former member, the teacher even showed up at her part-time job.
The Houston teenager also maintains that she tried to end the relationship with her former Humble High School teacher several times. Amanda Feenstra supposedly called the young woman constantly after when it looked like the relationship was coming to a close.
The relationship supposedly began after the teacher invited the girl to spend the night in her guest room when her husband was way. Amanda Feenstra is now facing charges stemming from the alleged improper relationship with the former Wild Cadets dancer.
Humble High School officials said that the alleged teenage victim felt trapped and embarrassed due to the relationship. The Wild Cadets dancer reportedly lost all of her friends and the supposed sexual relationship with the teacher took shape. The teen girl told police officers that she thought she would finally be free from the teacher after she graduated high school.
