Taco Bell Delay: Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos Coming As Soon As Possible

Taco Bell announced earlier this month that the Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos would finally be coming to the menu. Unfortunately, there’s been a little delay.

Well, its not really a delay. Taco Bell originally planned on releasing the Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos on Thursday but announced this week that they would be releasing the taco a day early. Unfortunately, that plan looks like it has fallen through.

Taco Bell was able to get the Cool Ranch taco to some restaurants but shipments didn’t arrive at all participating restaurants. It’s unclear what caused the delay but it may have something to do with the massive snowstorm that moved across the Midwest this week.

The Taco Bell delay may have angered some customers but the restaurant said that it was overwhelmed by the general response. The restaurant also said that it was working to get the tacos to restaurants as soon as possible.

Taco Bell wrote on Twiiter: “We love our fans! Sincere apologies if you couldn’t buy #CoolRanchDLT early. We’re working to have participating locations sell today.”

Taco Bell scored a massive hit when it released its Doritos Locos Taco last year. The restaurant sold more than 100 million Doritos Locos Tacos in just 10 weeks. It was the most successful taco launch in the company’s history and the restaurant is hoping for similar results with the Cool Ranch taco.

Judging by the anger from Taco Bell taco delay, the restaurant could have another craze on its hands.
