Colts owners defends his coaches decision

Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay would do a lot better for himself, if he just kept his mouth shut. We should all be really happy for him, his team rolled over like a bunch of sacred little girls on Sunday, and then he comes out and says that the decision to sit his starters was courageous. Courageous really? It is courageous to screw your fans out of a chance at history? It is courageous to screw the people that spent 81 dollars on average for a ticket to that game? Really? If it was so damn courageous Mr. Irsay why not just forfeit the game at half time? Why not announce your team’s plan before screwing your fans into buying a seat at full price for what became a pre-season game.

As with all other thing Irsay’s comment lack context. This is the son of the man that moved the Colts out of Baltimore in the middle of the night. Was it courageous to screw a city out of their football team? This is also the man fat with cash after inheriting a football team from his dad, and is actively screwing the city of Indianapolis with a lease agreement where he gets all the profit and the city pays all the expenses. So, Jim it is courageous to screw our own fans?

In the end I guess it is, because his Daddy already taught him when the going gets too tough, hire moving trucks in the middle of the night to move the team somewhere else. What does it matter? There is a brand new stadium being built in Los Angeles, maybe we will see another gutless midnight move of the Colts to their third city. Because that what the Colt were on Sunday, gutless. I personally cannot wait until the New York Jets, or the San Diego Chargers knock them out of the playoffs.
