iPhone Sales Slowly Picking Up In China, Still Not Impressive

When Apple debuted the iPhone in China the initial results were not very good, actually they were rather pathetic. Now it appears some life may have been breathed into the popular Smartphone with sales slowly picking up.

According to Mashable, the iPhone has sold 300,000 units in China, still a rather small number of devices given the mammoth size of the Chinese market, however it’s a vast improvement over the first several weeks in market.

An assist may have been given to the phone as it toured through a 46 city iPhone roadshow and educational campaign which showed off the phones features to possible buyers. After 40 days the phone had only sold 100,000 units, now the device is averaging 100,000 units a week, although Apple will have to compete with a hyper active Chinese market if they plan to build on that momentum.
