Jada Pinkett Smith Buys Jaden Smith An Expensive Piece Of Cartier Jewellery

Jada Pinkett Smith was caught buying her 14-year-old son, Jaden Smith, an expensive piece of jewellery from Cartier in New York City, which was worth several thousand dollars.

The mother and son duo each tried on several items in the store, whilst Jaden looked interested in a particular piece, called a gold bangle, at one point.

Jaden and Jada then exited the building together smiling and laughing, and they seemed rather pleased with their purchases.

Jaden was in New York City shooting his new music video, for the single Hello, which also features his younger sister Willow Smith. Willow is a star in her own right having released her own song, “Whip My Hair,” back in 2010.

Jada has ensured that her two children remain grounded despite their successes, telling Redbook magazine, ” I enforce curfews and bedtimes, and there are consequences for bad behaviour.”

She also added, “Our son Trey has just turned 18, and we [finally] lifted his curfew. Will wanted to keep it, but I said to him, ‘Will, he’s basically an adult now’.”

Pinkett-Smith also revealed her biggest fear, “Let me tell you what I fear most: Them growing up like I did, in a house with drugs in a war zone, where if I walked out my door I could be shot. Hollywood ain’t nothing compared to that! Growing up in the streets of Baltimore, or the streets of Philly where Will grew up, I’d rather have my kids here.”
