ABC Financial Reporter Bianna Golodryga engaged to OMB director Peter Orszag

ABC News financial reporter Bianna Golodryga announced her engagement to Obama administration budget director Peter Orszag on today’s Good Morning America.

Golodryga, 31, and Orszag, 41, reportedly met at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in May. This will be the second marriage for Orszag, who has two children from a previous marriage. The nuptials will be Golodryga’s first. Orszag reportedly proposed to Golodryga over lunch at NYC eatery Sarabeth’s on Monday, hiding a 5-carat cushion-cut Harry Winston diamond under his now-fiancee’s menu.

Of Orszag, Golodryga says:

“He could say Golodryga and spell it after the first date,” she said, “and that is a winner in my book.”

The couple plans to marry in October of 2010.
