Lori Loughlin is said to be struggling as she continues to deal with the fallout from the college admissions scandal.

According to Radar Online, Lori Loughlin’s mental state is reportedly not good at the moment, and the Full House star is seemingly worrying her friends with her behavior.

“I believe Lori is suicidal. She’s having a complete mental breakdown,” a source told the outlet, adding that Loughlin has been popping pain pills due to blinding headaches, refusing to eat, and having many sleepless nights.

The actress is allegedly panicked over the thought of having to spend up to 20 years in prison and is also reportedly blaming her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, for convincing her to not take a plea deal that would have seen her serving much less jail time.

The outlet reports that Giannulli convinced Loughlin not to take the plea deal by telling her that they’d done nothing against the law and that the so-called ringleader of the scandal, Rick Singer, would be the main target.

However, when the couple refused the plea deal, they were hit with additional money laundering charges.

“When Lori heard the number of years she could spend in prison, she broke down sobbing. Any decent lawyer would tell them that they don’t have a hope or a prayer of winning their case,” the source stated.

Lori Loughlin and her husband are accused of paying hundreds of thousands of dollars to ensure that their daughters, Bella and Olivia Jade, got into the University of Southern California and allegedly had college coaches identify them has recruited rowing athletes in order to increase their chances of admittance.

“Lori would do anything to ensure her kids got the best opportunities, but now that she’s facing decades in a prison cell, she’s livid that they didn’t do more to help themselves. She and the girls are at each other’s throats,” the insider says.

“Lori finally realizes her whole world has crumbled around her,” the source added, revealing that there is a real fear that she could take out all of her anger and guilt on herself in a very “frightening” way.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Lori is said to be devastated by the entire situation and the fact that her legacy as an actress has been forever tarnished.

Since the scandal broke, Lori Loughlin has been fired from her jobs at the Hallmark Channel, including movies for the network and the series When Calls The Heart. She’s also been axed from the final season of Fuller House on Netflix.
