LG Slims Down With 42 Inch LCD Screen, Delivers 2.6mm Thickness

LG just announced their newest LCD screen, a 42 inch display with LED backlighting all and a sleek design packed into a screen that comes in at a thickness of just 2.6mm.

The new display also weighs a very light 4KG, while 120Hz refresh rates are readily available for all your high definition video playback.

While no more specs are available at this time, I won’t be surprised to see it pop up at CES 2010 in January where we’ll be able to get some actual coverage directly from the show.

No word yet on a possible release date or expected pricing for the displays. Stay tuned for our coverage from CES for more info.
