Kanye West can’t seem to stay out of the spotlight, but in his profession, that may not be a bad thing. After all, as Lindsay Lohan could easily tell you, there is no such thing as bad press.

Kim Kardashian also has a love for the spotlight, sharing old photos of herself. Some of which we were sure she would want to forget due to the reference involved.

Kim Kardashian posted a photo to Instagram, a self-portrait with her hair in cornrows, with the caption “Bo Derek braids.” According to the Huffington Post, the photo dates back to three years ago, and reportedly emerged from her work on the music video “Jam! (Turn It Up).” Kanye West, never shy of the camera, is also pictured with his head on her shoulder.

So even when Kanye West was stealing the spotlight from Taylor Swift to announce that Beyonce was the better of the two, he had eyes for Kim Kardashian even then?

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have been friends for years, but it wasn’t until last April that they started dating, and now they are expecting their first child. I guess long-time friends really can take it to the next level. Or was Beyonce unavailable?

Kim Kardashian may find this photo nostalgic in context, as it reveals Kanye West has always been hanging around waiting to make his move. Kanye West has apparently been stalking her all this time. It must be sentimental value, as there doesn’t seem to be any other reason to post something that brings back her embarrassing attempt at music.
