Leonardo DiCaprio Does Jim Beam Ad [Video]

Leonardo DiCaprio has said that he’s planning on taking a hiatus from acting, but not before he stumps for Jim Beam.

DiCaprio’s fame and fortune from his critically acclaimed film career have allowed him a plush yacht-based lifestyle complete with topless babes and Jonah Hill, but that doesn’t mean the A-lister is above doing commercials.

MSN reports that like other actors of his caliber, DiCaprio earns extra cash by doing commercials for markets overseas (a la Bill Murray’s Lost in Translation).

Below, DiCaprio is promoting Jim Beam in Asia, creating a bourbon snow cone.

DiCaprio’s recent announcement that he’ll be taking a brief hiatus from acting stunned Hollywood, particularly after such successful outings in Christopher Nolan’s Inception and Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained.

Of the hiatus, the 38-year-old actor explained, “I’m a little bit drained. I am now going to take a long, long break.”

So what’s an A-list star to do with a short break? “I would like to improve the world a bit,” he says.

Are you a fan of Leonardo DiCaprio? You’ll find his Asian market Jim Beam commercial below. Do you think he looks “cool” in the ad, like GossipCop says? Would his endorsement of Jim Beam persuade you to go bourbon? Sound off in the comments section below.
