‘Injustice: Gods Among Us’ Drops Several New Gameplay Trailers [Video]

Injustice: Gods Among Us will finally arrive on retail shelves this April. To keep the online buzzing going, NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. have issued a handful of new gameplay trailers.

Earlier this week, a new trailer gave prospective gamers a chance to see Aquaman in action. Although the character is often the butt of jokes among comic book fans, it would appear the developers are taking Aquaman very seriously. The embedded clip shows the aquatic hero holding his own against a number of worth adversaries.

Another recently-released clip from Injustice: Gods Among Us showcases a fearsome confrontation between Shazam and the Flash. The clip highlights a number of interesting features in the game, including the use of environments against your opponents.

One of the Flash’s special moves finds him circling the globe before landing a devastating blow to Shazam’s face. Of course, his opponent has a few surprises up his sleeve as well.

The clip featuring a brawl between the Joker and Lex Luthor also shows off the game’s penchant for quick cinematic cuts that often end with some sort of unique devastating attack. You can find all of these promotional videos embedded below.

This is how Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment describes the fighter:

“What if our greatest heroes became our greatest threat ? Injustice: Gods Among Us debuts as a bold new fighting game franchise that introduces a deep, original story featuring favorite DC Comics icons such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Harley Quinn, Solomon Grundy and others. Set in a world where the lines between good and evil are is blurred, players will experience heroes and villains engaging in epic battles on a massive scale.”
