Sara Rue Baby: ‘Less Than Perfect’ Star Gives Birth To Daughter Talulah

Congratulations are in order for actress Sara Rue who welcomed her first child into the world last week.

The former Less than Perfect actress, 34, and her husband Kevin Price, 35, named the beautiful baby girl Talulah Rue Price.

Sara’s rep confirmed the announcement Friday, telling People magazine that all parties in the household are happy.

“Both mother and baby are doing well and the family is ecstatic to be cozied up together,” the rep said.

Sara later took to Twitter to share the happy news with her fans.

“Had the best Valentines day w/my husband & our new baby daughter Talulah! She was born a few days ago & we couldn’t be more in love w/her,” Rue tweeted Friday.

Talulah Price is the first child for Rue and her husband, who got engaged in 2009 and married in 2011. Prior to the wedding, Rue lost more than 50 lbs while serving as a spokeswoman for Jenny Craig.

As The Inquisitr reported earlier, Rue and Price met over a game of beer pong and later incorporated the theme into their wedding festivities by handing out ping pong paddles and balls to guests as wedding favors.

In addition to her role as a new mom, Sara Rue will be busy wrapping up the first season of ABC’s new hit comedy series Malibu Country.

In the sitcom, Rue plays neighbor to Reba MacKenzie (McEntire), a recently divorced country singer who moves to Los Angeles to restart her music career and start a new chapter in her family’s lives.
