Rumor has it that Jessica Simpson’s pregnancy can’t end soon enough for handsome husband Eric Johnson, who allegedly is upset that the former songstress has put a ban on their sex life until after their third child is born.

The 38-year-old former singer and reality star is in the final trimester of her surprise pregnancy with Johnson. The couple will expect a baby girl shortly.

“Their love life has always been electric,” an insider allegedly told Radar Online of their romantic entanglement. “But Jess isn’t in the mood so often now that she’s in her final trimester.”

“This little baby girl will make us a family of five. We couldn’t be happier to announce this precious blessing of life,” Simpson captioned a photo of son Ace, 5, and daughter Maxwell, 6, holding a string of pink balloons on Instagram.

Reportedly Simpson isn’t all that thrilled about intimate moments she shares with her husband as she enters the final weeks of her pregnancy.

The handsome former NFL star, who spent seven years as a professional footballer, playing tight end for the San Francisco 49ers, according to E!, retired in 2008.

Simpson and Johnson met back in 2010, according to Us Weekly, and they were spotted kissing passionately on a yacht in Capri over Jessica’s 30th birthday weekend.

Simpson hinted to People back in April that she and her husband were hoping for a third child, telling the magazine that another baby “would definitely have to be a bit of a miracle” although the couple “always practiced.”

In April of 2018, Simpson spoke to Entertainment Tonight and opened up about the possibility of expanding her happy family.

“My daughter is about to turn 6, May 1st is her birthday, and my son is going to turn 5 on June 30th and it’s just like, ‘Wait, so this is no longer toddler, this is a full-on kid,'” Simpson said. “My daughter [aready] thinks she’s a teenager. My son at least wants to be a baby still.”

In May of 2017, Simpson told Ellen DeGeneres that both she and Johnson were not interested in expanding their family during that period of time.

“I’m not pregnant,” the singer said, addressing speculation at the time that she might be expecting. “We got an IUD, nothing’s gonna get in that uterus. I have two beautiful children and I’m not having a third.”

Jessica Simpson was a teen idol in the 1990s and married then-boyfriend Nick Lachey of the boy band 98 Degrees in 2002. The couple divorced in 2006.
