A former girlfriend of ex-LAPD officer and Navy reservist Christopher Dorner claims that his identity was completely consumed with law enforcement and that he also stashed weapons all over her house.
Ariana Williams, who described her initial impressions of Dorner as someone who was outgoing and friendly, now says he feels she might be danger, according to an interview she gave to KABC Los Angeles.
“For somebody like Chris, he was the type of person that without him having a badge, without him having that job, title of police officer, I really don’t think he would exist without it …
“He would leave firearms all over my house. There’d be one, he’d be in the bed and there’d be one by the bed. There’d be one on the kitchen counter. There may be a combat knife or something, maybe I saw, in the bathroom one day or in the kitchen. He said, ‘You know, you’re always on duty when you’re a cop. You don’t ever know who is watching you or following you.’ “
In 2006, Williams apparently warned other women about Dorner on the DontDateHimGirl.com website. According to AP, Williams described Dorner in the posting as “super parnoid” among other things. He later sought a restraining order against Williams but evidently dropped the case.
Police have formed a massive manhunt for Dorner who is accused of murdering three people. Dorner is believed to be hiding in the wilderness of California’s mountains near Big Bear lake, roughly 80 miles east of Los Angeles, although there are some reports that he has fled to Mexico.
