Being a member of the royal family can seem like a stodgy, prim, and proper gig at times, but Princess Beatrice decided to let loose just a little bit this year for Halloween. She looked stunning as she took part in sister Princess Eugenie’s wedding recently, but when it came to a costume, she showed a bit of spunk.
ET Online shares a peek at Princess Beatrice’s Halloween costume. She didn’t go too crazy or over-the-top, but she did incorporate a bit of whimsy into her ensemble. She kept things simple with a tiered white midi dress, a long black jacket, and a black belt with a heart buckle on it, but she also donned a lilac wig and a unicorn horn. The princess also carried a gold clutch bag and wore black stiletto heels.
While Beatrice didn’t have any other members of her royal family with her, she was partying with a familiar face. Chelsy Davy, the ex-girlfriend of Prince Harry, was by her side. The two hit a party at the private club Annabel’s in Mayfair, London, and it looks like they were having fun.
Davy dated Prince Harry off and on for quite some time, but they split for good several years ago and have remained on good terms. In fact, Chelsy was at Harry’s spring wedding to Meghan Markle, and she also attended Eugenie’s recent nuptials to Jack Brooksbank.

Chelsy didn’t wear anything particularly elaborate as a Halloween costume, either. The Daily Mail details that she wore distressed black skinny jeans along with a Bardot top that had a sheer middle to showcase her toned midriff. Davy added knee-high black boots, a black jacket, and dramatic eyeliner to incorporate a bit of a spooky feel.
Hello! details that Princess Beatrice has kept busy since her sister’s wedding. She spent some time in Laos and ran a half marathon there, an event she did to benefit a local children’s hospital. She attended a few other events while in the area, and at home, she works to juggle her royal duties, a personal life, and her career as the vice president of a technology company.
Princess Beatrice may not have gone too over-the-top with her Halloween costume or celebrations, but it looks as if she had a fun evening with some close friends. She’s not one to generate buzzworthy headlines all that often and it looks like her costume hit just the right note of something that was proper for a royal family member but with a touch of fun.
