Meghan Markle Was Reportedly ‘Terrified’ Of Weight Gain, Had Ex Sign A ‘Pregnancy Contract’ Per ‘Daily Mail’
Meghan Markle was once married to Trevor Engelson. Now, someone is spilling the beans on alleged details from her prior marriage, including a “pregnancy contract” that she had him sign, according to the Daily Mail. The contract is reportedly an informal one, which detailed that Trevor would shoulder the costs of a post-baby fitness trainer and nutritionist, with potentially additional information about nanny or childcare.
As the source revealed, the intent of the contract appeared to be concerned with the then-actress’ figure. Meghan was supposedly worried about a post-baby figure in her field of work and wanted to maintain it for her career’s sake. This is what they said.
“It came up at a time when [Meghan and Trevor] were considering having a family, at some point in the near future… She knows the heavy-weighted body-type runs in her family and has always been terrified of putting on extra pounds, particularly given her career at the time.”
The source, who is reportedly close to the Duchess, elaborated on her weight gain fears.
“Anytime she puts on a bit of weight, it shows on her face, so she wanted to make sure she would be camera-ready very quickly. She demanded a personal trainer and nutritionist during and after the pregnancy.”
Unfortunately, Meghan had to abandon her acting career once she decided to marry into the royal family. And at any rate, she never had a baby with her ex-husband.

Some Twitter users expressed disbelief at the claims. Of course, insiders can receive a payout for revealing personal details about Meghan. So it’s hard to know who the source was. There haven’t been as many media stories written based on claims by a “friend” of Meghan’s, compared to the interviews given by the American Markle family.
Royal fans have come to know Meghan’s family quite well in the past months. Her dad Thomas gave numerous interviews, which was then followed by interviews from half-siblings. People have debated whether the family members are sincere in their interviews, or whether they are seeking attention and profits.
In the meantime, Meghan’s ex, Trevor, has also tied the knot again, described Harper’s Bazaar. He married a nutritionist named Tracey Kurland in a private ceremony in early October. He became engaged to Tracey in June, soon after Meghan married Prince Harry. Not much information surfaced online about the wedding, save for some Instagram stories.
Markle was married to Engelson from 2011 to 2013.
