Megyn Kelly Wants Out Of Her ‘Today Show’ Gig And Back On Fox, According To ‘Radar Online’

She may be the highest paid employee at NBC, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that Megyn Kelly is feeling warm and fuzzy there.

During her first year on The Today Show, Megyn Kelly’s ratings for her hour on the show tanked and they were the subject of a lot of controversy, especially considering the fact that she’s raking in a reported $23 million a year. But a new report from Radar Online suggests that Kelly wants off the show following an incident with Savannah Guthrie and a few other Today members.

It all started when the two ladies appeared together for special coverage of Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court confirmation hearing and things became a little heated, according to a source.

“As the day went on, Savannah and Megyn got nastier and nastier, making little digs at each other. When the live broadcast ended, the two of them exploded — accusing each other of talking over one another and interrupting!”

And while Guthrie and other Today Show members appear on Kelly’s hour of the show from time to time, that doesn’t mean that they’re good friends. Sources close to Kelly say that the 47-year-old thinks that Gurthie is responsible for leaking information regarding the future for her at NBC and Megyn isn’t happy about it. Additionally, Kelly feels like she doesn’t have any friends at The Today Show, which makes things really hard.

“At FOX, Megyn was a princess. At NBC she feels isolated and alone. She’s not happy — and something has to give.”

Recently, more than 25 cast members from The Today Show, including Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie, went to support Al Roker on his Broadway debut of the hit show Waitress. After seeing the show together, the whole cast continued the festivities and went with Roker and his wife to celebrate at an NYC restaurant but Kelly wasn’t invited.

“One staff member was overheard saying, ‘This family does everything together,’ but obviously that ‘family’ doesn’t include Megyn,” a source shared.

Other sources have claimed that Kelly is already in talks with Fox to return to the network, though no details or timeline of the potential move has been made available. And it’s already been a rough first year at NBC for Kelly. Recently, the Inquisitr shared that Kelly admitted that she regretted ever having actress Jane Fonda on her show.

As fans will recall, Kelly asked Fonda about her plastic surgery and Fonda did not like the question and the proof was in her stern response.

“We really want to talk about that now? Good attitude, good posture, I take care of myself. But let me tell you why I love this movie that we did, Our Souls at Night, rather than plastic surgery,” Fonda said.

After that, the two publicly talked about the ordeal and it became very messy. It remains to be seen if Kelly does indeed leave NBC for her old stomping grounds.
