Amazon Unveils New Kindle Features For The Vision Impaired And Blind

In their ever increasing attempt to reach every demographic imaginable, Amazon has announced new features for users who are vision impaired and those who are blind.

The first option is a better voice guided navigation system that will make it more simple for users to find books they’ve downloaded, download new books and use the other functions found on their Kindles. While the second option provides a new large font for the vision impaired. The new font is double the height and double the width of the devices current biggest font.

The new Kindle features are set to roll out by Summer 2010 at no additional cost.
