‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Leah Messer-Calvert Gives Birth To Third Daughter

Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer-Calvert is a mother again after giving birth to a baby girl on Monday.

The reality TV starlet went into labor Sunday night, possibly putting a damper on husband Jeremy Calvert’s Super Bowl plans, reports MSN. A friend told InTouch magazine that Messer-Calvert gave birth Monday morning.

“Leah gave birth in the early hours of this morning (Feb. 4) to a beautiful baby girl,” the close family friend told the magazine. “Mother and baby are happy and healthy. Leah went into labor late last night, and the baby was born this morning.”

The young mom has twin 3-year-olds from her first marriage to Corey Simms, and hinted that she was near delivery during the Super Bowl, tweeting “Yes, the time is near … Can’t wait to meet you little Miss Calvert!”

The new baby girl is 20-year-old Messer-Calvert’s first child with Jeremy Calvert, whom she married last year.

But not everyone is happy for Leah Messer-Calvert and her new addition. An opinion column written for HollywoodLife accuses the Teen Mom 2 star of being “hell-bent on seriously ruining [her] life” and not giving her three daughters the best start on their lives.

They wrote, near the time of her third pregnancy announcement, “instead of focusing on being the best mother you can be to your twins — who NEED attention — and trying to get a career together to support them outside of Teen Mom, you decide to complicate your life even further.”

They also accuse Messer-Calvert of “deliberately getting pregnant,” rushing into her second marriage, and attempting to hurt her ex-husband to get attention to herself. “It’s like you wanted to simultaneously trap yourself and Jeremy into this new relationship AND also hurt ex-husband Corey Simms at the very same time.”

What do you think? Are congratulations in order for Leah Messer-Calvert, or is she going about motherhood and marriage all wrong?
