Lamar Odom Kidnapped, Girlfriend And Daughter Held At Gunpoint, Reports ‘Radar’

Khloe Kardashian’s ex-husband, Lamar Odom, was reportedly kidnapped in a gambling scheme gone horribly wrong, according to a new report by Radar Online. Odom reportedly spent two days with his captors, while his girlfriend and her 2-year-old daughter were “terrorized” at gunpoint, per the story from Radar.

A source claims to Radar that Odom was held against his will in Portland, Oregon, where the basketball pro was visiting his then-girlfriend, Savanna Waldrop, and her family. Radar reported that Odom was missing his then-lady love and flew to her hometown to see her, despite Waldrop telling him she wanted to be alone with her clan.

The Radar story claims Odom wanted to gamble so he borrowed $10,000 from some locals as a loan.

“Savanna set up the loan and Lamar knew he had to pay it back no matter what,” claimed Radar’s source. “The bookies had no idea someone famous like Lamar didn’t have the cash to pay them back. And you don’t mess with these guys.”

The site reported that it took all of 20 minutes for the former sports pro to lose all the money he was loaned. The Radar source claimed that within one day, the bookies wanted their money back and began harassing Odom and Waldrop.

“It got so bad, they threatened Savanna and her daughter with a gun and said they’d kill her. They kicked in the hotel door and came in with guns when they were all in bed,” the source alleged.

The story took a wild turn when the men allegedly took the former Keeping Up with the Kardashians star and held him for ransom for two days, until he was able to pay them back. Radar reported that in order to keep an eye on him, Odom’s captors even took him to a nightclub.

Radar reported that Waldrop paid the men $1500 and Odom was able to come up with $2800 more before he was freed. Odom reportedly fled Oregon, heading back to Los Angeles and then to China, where he is reportedly playing basketball.

Odom had a near-death overdose at a Nevada brothel in 2015. He was helped with his recovery by his then-estranged wife, Khloe Kardashian. The couple later finalized their divorce.

“When we survive this, we will laugh about it on a beach somewhere getting high,” Odom reportedly texted his girlfriend on June 8, even taking credit for saving her “a**.”

It is unknown whether his reportedly outstanding gambling debt has been paid.
