‘Southern Charm’s Kathryn Dennis Thanks Her Friends For Their Support After Thomas Ravenel Arrest

Kathryn Dennis has had a “heck of a week.”

Following her former boyfriend Thomas Ravenel’s sexual assault arrest last Tuesday morning, the Southern Charm star spoke out on her Instagram and Twitter pages, revealing that despite the intense drama her family is facing, she has the love and support of many friends.

“Right now I need to take a moment and say how thankful I am for my friends and my family,” Kathryn said on Instagram. “God has really blessed me when I’ve most needed it.”

According to a report shared by Bravo’s The Daily Dish on September 29, Dennis tagged a number of her friends in the post, including Madison Simon, Danni Baird, Jacquelyn Stewart, Naomie Olindo, and Chelsea Shea.

Dennis also spoke out on Twitter around the same time, telling her fans and followers that she was with her two children, four-year-old Kensington and two-year-old Saint Julien.

“Mama’s ready for be,” she wrote. “Heck of a week. Sneaking one last peek of Kensie and Sainty sleeping so peacefully. My heart and soul feels so much more at ease. Thank you all for your support. I’m going to keep them safe and sound and so happy. Goodnight.”

Dennis and Ravenel were involved in a romance years ago but, as fans have seen on Southern Charm, their relationship has gone through a number of ups and downs since as they continue to co-parent their children together.

During the most recent season of Southern Charm, Season 5, Thomas Ravenel debuted his romance with Ashley Jacobs and quickly, Jacobs began speaking out against the mother of his children, Kathryn Dennis. Most notably, Jacobs went on an outlandish rant against Dennis during a cast trip, claiming the reality star was nothing more than an “egg donor” and suggesting she was with Dennis’ kids more than Dennis.

The shocking encounter between the two women led many of Ravenel’s co-stars to turn against them and when it came to Jacobs, she didn’t have any allies at all. Instead, she was completely ousted by her co-stars and when it comes to Season 6, she isn’t expected to make any appearances.

Following Ravenel’s arrest last week, Bravo TV confirmed he had been fired from Southern Charm but didn’t say anything about his girlfriend, Jacobs. That said, with absolutely no ties to the cast of the reality series, it doesn’t seem too likely that fans will see any of Jacobs when the show returns next year.
