Charlie Sheen Slams Lance Armstrong Again [Video]

Lance Armstrong is being criticized from all angles, and he recently got a double serving of humble pie from actor Charlie Sheen.

On Wednesday’s Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Sheen continued his criticism of the disgraced cyclist that he started a bit ago during a sit-down with CNN‘s Piers Mogan. When asked about his opinion of Armstrong, Sheen very candidly said he’s “kind of a douche.”

“Wow, I didn’t just say that, did I?” the Anger Management star proclaimed. Sheen apologized to Armstrong for the remark, but Leno told him not to bother.

It’s important to note that Sheen’s criticism of Armstrong isn’t based on the doping scandal. MSN rightly pointed out that Sheen would be more than a little hypocritical if it were, after he admitted to doping while on the set of his film Major League. Instead, the bad blood between the two is a bit personal.

Though they’ve never worked together in any capacity, Sheen previously recalled the one and only time he had ever met Armstrong.
About eight years ago, while Armstrong was still with Sheryl Crow, Sheen ran into the then-famous cyclist, and introduced himself.

“I said, ‘Hi, Mr. Armstrong, I’m Charlie Sheen. I just want to say hello.’ He looks at me. He’s like, ‘That’s nice,'” Sheen recalled.

Insulted, Sheen responded: “Sorry to bother you, Captain Bitchin’. Go get a paper route, dude!”

Sheen did draw another parallel between himself and Armstrong, opining that if Lance were “a better guy,” he’d “be forgiven a lot faster and a lot easier — kind of like me.”

Here’s the clip, let us know what you think. Is Charlie Sheen right? Is Lance Armstrong kind of a douche?
