Rick Ross Shooting: Rapper Records New Track ‘B*tch Don’t Kill My Vibe’ A Day After Assassination Attempt

Within a day after the Rick Ross shooting, the rapper has bounced back to record a new track entitled B*tch Don’t Kill My Vibe. In the world of hip hop you might almost think this title might be for a love song, but while I doubt Rick Ross loves his would-be assassins the new freestyle track almost seems contemplative.

After the shooting Rick Ross disappeared for about 12 hours and the media was clamoring to get an interview. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, 50 Cent was busy claiming that Rick Ross staged the assassination attempt, but photos with bullet holes in the Rolls Royce quickly proved the opposing rapper wrong. Other experts on the hip hop scene were quick to grab the mic, but Rick Ross was nowhere to be found.

But where was Rick Ross himself? In hiding from the Gangster Disciples, who made death threats a couple months back? Beefing up on security as some experts suggested? As it turns out, Rick Ross was busy doing what made him famous in the first place: cutting a new freestyle hip hop track.

The new Rick Ross record track B*tch Don’t Kill My Vibe seems targeted at his would-be assassins. The Miami New Times explains the context of this new record track:

Riffing on Kendrick Lamar’s swagged-out and contemplative B*tch Don’t Kill My Vibe cut off the Good Kid, M.A.A.D City slab, Rick Ross meditates on mortality, street beef, and vengeance.

‘Sometimes I look in the mirror, I can’t believe I’m alive,’ the Bawse bellows on the freestyle, released last night. ‘Disrespectful to n*ggas that want take me alive/Wishing death on you n*ggas, we’ll never see eye to eye/Somehow I pray for you n*ggas at the very same time.'”

Unggghhh … ‘Just for the record.'”

Stupid Dope points out this new Rick Ross track is a bit different than what we are used to from the MMG boss, “speaking about his life of rhyme and his life in the streets as he gracefully hits the beat and spits his smooth bars.” What do you think about the new Rick Ross Track B*tch Don’t Kill My Vibe?
